General:
- Four-year technical degree or the equivalent work experience and two to five years of prior related experience.
- Communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively via printed material, on the telephone, and over electronic services; strong technical writing skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

- Implementation of interfaces, including workflow analysis, development of interface specifications, implementation planning, implementation.
- HL7 Standards.
- Integration engines.
Information Technology Specific:
- Operating Systems: LINUX, UNIX, Windows.
- Object-oriented methodologies.
- Software development methodologies.
- Production support.
- Client/Server concepts and communication protocols.
- Programming Languages: C++, Tcl/Tk, Perl, UNIX Shell Scripts, DOS batch files.
- Project management skills.
